A little bit about the process. 

Encaustic painting has been around since the Ancient Egyptians - painting have been found in tombs, so this is not something new, and hence the appeal to my senses. I use natural beeswax and pigments and these are painted in layers. Each layer fused with fire which come is the form of a plumbers torch. Allowing the process to dictate the outcome creates something beautifully unique.
